Bozeman truly comes alive in the winter. Here are some of our favorite ways to experience it:

Skiing:

Bridger Bowl: A local favorite with fantastic terrain and incredible views. Known for its "cold smoke" powder.

Big Sky Resort: One of the largest ski resorts in North America, offering an immense amount of terrain for all skill levels.

Other Winter Activities:

Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing: Enjoy the peaceful beauty of the winter landscape on groomed trails. Hyalite Canyon and the Crosscut Mountain Sports Center are popular spots.

Sleigh Rides: A magical way to see the beautiful Gallatin Valley. Several local companies offer rides, some including dinner!

Hot Springs: Soak in the natural geothermal waters at Bozeman Hot Springs or take a scenic drive to Chico Hot Springs Resort.

Ice Skating: The free outdoor rink at the Bogert Park Pavilion is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Explore Downtown: Stroll down Main Street, pop into the local shops, and find the perfect souvenir.

Museums: Visit the Museum of the Rockies to see one of the world's largest collections of dinosaur fossils.
